Behavior reports

Behavior reports provide a comprehensive view of customer interactions on your website, from search habits to purchase conversion paths. By analyzing popular search terms, no-result searches, conversion trends, landing page performance, product page engagement, and exit pages, you can identify market trends, uncover product gaps, optimize user experience, and refine marketing strategies to boost engagement, conversion rates, sales growth, and brand competitiveness.

For example, if your online store template includes a search bar, the Top online store searches report shows what visitors are searching for. The Top online store searches with no results report reveals terms that returned no matches, helping you address inventory or content gaps.

How to access

  1. Log in to your Genstore Merchant dashboard.
  2. Navigate to AnalyticReports in the left menu.
  3. Locate financial reports under the Behavior section on the Reports Summary page.
  4. Click any report title to view comprehensive metrics and granular data.

Behavior reports use the following terms:

Time groupingThe selected time unit for data aggregation (e.g., day, week, month).
VisitorsTotal visits to your online store.
SessionsTotal number of sessions on your online store, indicating how many different sessions occurred within a specified date range. A session ends after 30 minutes of inactivity.
Added to cartThe sessions in which shoppers added one or more items to their shopping carts.
Reached checkoutThe sessions where shoppers added items to their cart and proceeded to the checkout process.
Sessions convertedTotal number of sessions where a customer purchases a product.
Conversion ratepercentage of sessions that lead to an order.
