Genstore offers a powerful product collections feature that helps merchants categorize and manage products based on different conditions. With flexible automation and manual options, merchants can easily create and manage product collections, improving product management efficiency, optimizing store displays, and enhancing the shopping experience.

Automatically create product collections

The automatically create product collections feature lets merchants automatically add products that meet specified conditions to a particular collection. By setting criteria such as product type, price, tags, and inventory, merchants can precisely match products. This feature is especially helpful for managing large quantities of products, reducing manual work, and improving efficiency.

Automatic filtering conditions

When creating an automatic product collection, merchants can control which products are included by using various filter conditions. Configurable filter options include product type, price range, inventory status, title keywords, and more. Merchants can choose to set all conditions must be met or any condition met to determine the collection's contents. You can add up to 60 filter conditions.

Manually create product collections

Manually create product collections is ideal for merchants who want full control over the collection content. Merchants can freely select products and add them to the collection manually based on their specific needs. This method provides flexibility for managing product displays, special promotions, or curated selections.

Use case: Quickly guide customers to new product collections

To make it easy for customers to quickly find your store's new product collections, you can create a drop-down menu in your online store's navigation menu, integrating the links to the new collections. This allows customers to easily browse all new products without multiple clicks.

Steps:

  1. Log in to the Genstore store admin panel and click Online Store -> Navigation.
  2. Click Add navigation.
  3. Enter the navigation title (e.g., "New Arrivals") and handle (system-generated or custom), then click the Add menu item button.
  4. In the newly popped-up window, enter the menu item name (e.g., "Spring/Summer 2025"), click the search box, select Collections from the drop-down list, and then select the target product collection.
  5. Repeat step 4 to add other new product collections.
  6. In the navigation list, you can drag and drop to adjust the display order of the menu items.
  7. Click Save.
