Email marketing is a direct marketing strategy that uses email as the primary means of communicating with target customers and promoting products or services. It not only helps businesses expand their customer base at a low cost and manage customer relationships effectively, but it also boosts customer loyalty and purchasing intent through regular updates, promotions, and personalized content.

Genstore offers you a comprehensive email marketing tool to help you achieve the best results in your campaigns.

How to access

  1. Log in to the Genstore merchant admin and navigate to Marketing.
  2. Click on Create marketing campaign in the top right corner, and choose Email marketing.

Marketing effectiveness analysis

Genstore ensures accurate tracking of every email's conversion performance by linking directly to your store's data. Additionally, by using UTM parameters, you can further monitor email campaigns with third-party analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, to gain deeper insights into your marketing performance.

On the Email marketing homepage, you can quickly assess the effectiveness of your emails and the resulting marketing conversions, such as open rate, click rate, and conversion rate. You can also dive deeper into the performance of each individual email.

The system will by default show the last 30 days of email marketing performance, including the following key metrics:

Click-through rateThe percentage of users who clicked a link within the email to visit the store
Unsubscribe rateThe percentage of users who unsubscribed after receiving the email
Sessions generated from email marketingThe number of interactions users have with your store via email marketing, with a new session starting if there’s no activity within 30 minutes
OrdersThe total number of orders attributed to email marketing
SalesThe total sales attributed to email marketing, excluding returns
Conversion rateThe percentage of sessions generated from email marketing that resulted in a purchase
