Checkout and ordering

The checkout page is the final step in completing a purchase. Genstore’s Checkout page is designed to be simple and intuitive, offering a smooth and efficient experience. The page includes the following key features:

Order overview

• Product list: Displays all items in the checkout, including product name, image, specifications (like color and size), and quantity.

Price details

• Unit price and total price for each product.
• Shipping or delivery fees.
• Discounts, coupons, or promotional offers applied.
• The final total amount due.

User information

• Shipping address: The address entered or selected by the customer for delivery. Genstore typically offers address management, allowing users to switch or add new addresses.
• Contact details: Includes the recipient's name and contact information.

Payment options

Multiple payment methods are supported:

• Online payment (credit/debit cards, third-party platforms, etc.). See Get payments for more details.
• Cash on delivery.
• Installments (note: this may not be available depending on your region).

Delivery methods

Customers can choose from various delivery options (e.g., standard shipping, in-store pickup, local delivery). See order fulfillment for more details.

Going to checkout

Once the user confirms their order, they must proceed to the checkout page to complete the process. Here’s how:

1. Log in to the Genstore online store.
2. In the online store, click Check out in either the product list or product details page, or go to the shopping cart and click Check out.

Enter contact information

Once on the Checkout page, the customer can fill in or update their contact information. Please ensure the details are accurate. Here’s how:

1. Log in to the Genstore online store and go to the checkout page.
2. In the Contact section, enter or update your email or phone number.

Select delivery method and shipping plan

On the Checkout page, customers can choose the delivery method and shipping plan. Here’s how:

1. Log in to the Genstore online store and go to the checkout page.
2. In the Delivery section, select from the available options (e.g., standard shipping, in-store pickup, local delivery).
3. Enter your shipping address.
4. After confirming the address, choose your preferred shipping plan.

Choose payment method

On the checkout page, customers can choose their preferred payment method. Here’s how:

1. Log in to the Genstore online store and go to the checkout page.
2. In the Payment section, select your desired payment option.

Enter billing address

After selecting your payment method, you can enter your billing address or use the same address as the shipping address. Here’s how:

1. Log in to the Genstore online store and go to the checkout page.
2. After choosing your payment method, fill in your billing address or select to use the shipping address as your billing address.

Apply discount codes

On the checkout page, customers can enter manual discount codes. Here’s how:

1. Log in to the Genstore online store and go to the checkout page.
2. Enter your manual discount code.
3. If you no longer want to use the code, click x to remove it.

Use gift cards

Customers can also use gift cards on the checkout page. Here’s how:

1. Log in to the Genstore online store and go to the checkout page.
2. Select your gift card.
3. If you change your mind, click x to remove the selected gift card.

Place order and pay

Once all checkout details are confirmed, customers can click Pay now to complete the payment and finalize the transaction. Here’s how:

2. Click Pay now to complete the process.
