Compared to the Sales by product report, the Sales by product variant SKU report provides granular sales insights for top-performing product specifications (e.g., color, size), empowering data-driven inventory and merchandising decisions.

Shipping & tax handling

Shipping costs are excluded from this report because a single order may contain multiple products but only one shipping fee. Since shipping cannot be allocated to individual products:

• Tax calculations also exclude taxes related to shipping.
