Digital products

Digital products refer to items that can be downloaded electronically by users, such as eBooks, software, audio files, videos, and design resources. These products do not require physical delivery and are widely used in education, creative design, software development, entertainment audio, and business resources. Selling digital products online can effectively expand sales channels, reduce operating costs, and offer flexible and efficient product delivery methods.

Publish digital products

1. Log in to the Genstore merchant admin and go to the Products page.
2. Click on the Publish product button at the top-right corner, and select Digital product.
3. Upload the product file, with a maximum size of 5GB. Note: Only a single file can be uploaded at a time.
4. Set the product title and subtitle, with a word limit of 0/100.
5. Choose an introduction image/video from the resource library or upload from your local system. Multiple images can be uploaded and the image order can be adjusted. The first image will be the main image.
6. Use the rich text editor to provide a detailed description of the product's purpose, specifications, etc., with support for inserting images, links, and tables.
7. Set the download restrictions (default is unlimited downloads).
8. Choose the sending type:
   • Automatic send: After the customer successfully pays, the system automatically sends a download link via email.
   • Manual send: The merchant manually reviews the order and sends the download link.

For additional settings, refer to the Publish product page. Once completed, click Save to publish the product.

Manage digital files

You can add, replace, or delete digital files for digital products.

Add digital files to existing products

You can add digital files to existing products in the following two ways:

1. In the product's multiple variants settings, each variant can have its own digital file added.
2. In the product list, you can add a digital file for each variant.

Steps

1. Log in to the Genstore merchant admin, go to the Products page, and click the target digital product to open the details page.
2. For the product variant that needs a digital file, click Add file.
3. Choose the file to upload.
4. Click Save to complete the file upload.

Replace digital files

Steps

1. In the product list, click the product type and select Digital product.
2. Select the products you want to replace the file for and choose Replace digital file.

Delete digital files

Steps

1. In the product list, click the product type and select Digital product.
2. Select the products you want to delete the file from and click on the row under Digital file, which is the hyperlink to the related digital files.
3. In the popup dialog box, click the delete icon.

Filter digital products

You can filter digital products based on whether a digital file has been added to the product.

Steps

1. In the product list, click the product type and select Digital product.
2. Review the digital products and check if each variant contains a digital download file.

Delete digital download products

Steps

1. In the product list, click the product type and select Digital product.
2. Select the digital products you want to delete and click Delete.
