Store notifications

You can send notifications to both customers and staff through your store. All notifications and their details are available for viewing and management in the Settings -> Notifications section of the Genstore admin.

Manage sender

To ensure your store’s email notifications are sent properly, you need to verify a valid sender email address.

Steps:

  1. In the Genstore backend, go to Settings -> Notifications.
  2. Click Manage sender.
  3. Enter the sender name, email address, reply email address, and verify the email address.
  4. Click Save.

Set up notification channels

  • Customer-facing store notifications support email, with some also supporting SMS.
  • Staff-facing store notifications support email, with some also supporting store backend notifications.

Steps:

  1. In the Genstore backend, go to Settings -> Notifications.
  2. Find the notification you want to set up.
  3. Use the toggle to turn the corresponding channel on or off.
