Shipping through Genstore

Shipping through Genstore is quick and simple. Once you link your Shippo account, you can easily purchase shipping labels and mark orders as shipped. Here’s how you can get started:

Step 1: Connect your Shippo account

To begin, connect your Shippo account on the Genstore platform. For detailed instructions, refer to Authorize logistics carrier.

Step 2: Create an order and purchase a shipping label

Once a customer places an order and completes payment, you can process and ship it directly through Genstore.

Steps:

  1. Log in to the Genstore merchant dashboard and go to Orders -> Shipping.
  2. From the Pending shipment list, select the order you want to ship.
  3. Click Purchase shipping label to be taken to the shipping label page. Choose your Shippo account to buy the label. Fill in the shipping details, including the address and shipping method.
  4. Double-check the information, then click Purchase shipping label to confirm.
  5. The system will generate your shipping label and automatically update the Genstore platform with the label details.

Step 3: Confirm shipping fees

On the purchase shipping label page, after completing the necessary shipping information, you can view the shipping fee details by clicking the Get cost button.

  1. Fill in the shipping information:
    • Verify and confirm the sender and recipient addresses, as well as the product information to be shipped.
    • Fill in the package information. You can enter it manually or use a preset package template.
  2. After selecting the logistics provider (Shippo) and shipping date.
  3. Click Get rate to view the shipping fee details.
  4. After confirming that the information is correct, click Purchase shipping label to complete the purchase.

Step 4: Print the shipping label and ship

Once you have your shipping label, print it and attach it to the package.

Steps:

  1. Log in to the Genstore merchant dashboard and go to Orders -> Shipping.
  2. Under In transit or Shipped, click Print shipping label in the Actions column.
  3. Print the label and attach it to the package.
  4. Drop the package off with the carrier according to their instructions to complete the shipment.

Step 5: Mark as shipped

Once the order is on its way, return to the Genstore platform and mark it as shipped.

Steps:

  1. In your order list, select the order and click More -> Mark as shipped. Or, click the order number to open the details page and choose More -> Mark as shipped.
  2. Confirm the status changes to Shipped. Your customer will automatically receive a shipment notification.

Step 6: Track your shipment

You can track the package's progress in real-time and share the tracking details with your customers.

Steps:

  1. Log in to the Genstore merchant dashboard and go to Orders -> Shipping.
  2. Select the shipped order.
  3. In the order details, find and copy the tracking number.
  4. Your customer can use this tracking number on the carrier’s website to check the status of the shipment.

1. Why can’t I connect my Shippo account?

Make sure your Shippo account is active and that the correct permissions are granted on Genstore. If you still can’t connect, try reconnecting your account or reach out to customer service for assistance.

2. What should I do if I encounter an error while purchasing the shipping label?

If you run into an error while purchasing the shipping label, double-check that the address and shipping method are correct. You can also try refreshing the page or contacting customer support for help.

3. How can I change the status of an order marked as shipped?

Once an order is marked as shipped, it cannot be changed directly. If you need to modify the shipment status, please contact customer service for assistance.
