Amount off products

Amount off products are designed to motivate consumers to make a purchase by offering direct discounts. This approach is especially effective for merchants looking to simplify the shopping experience and improve customer satisfaction. For instance, a store might offer a 10% discount on an item when customers place an order.

Access your dashboard

1. Log in: Open your Genstore store admin panel.
2. On the left navigation bar, go to Discount -> Create discount, and select Amount off products.

Set up your campaign

Configure your campaign on the Create page:

Discount method

Discounts are divided into two types:

• Discount code: Require customers to enter a code at checkout.
• Automatic discounts: Applied automatically at the product page, cart, and checkout.

Discount name

• Choose a unique, descriptive name. Note: Discount names must be globally unique.

Discount amount

• Discount type: Set a percentage discount or fixed amount discount.
• Purchase requirements: Choose whether to set a minimum purchase threshold (amount or quantity) for the discount to apply.
• Discount amount: Set the discount amount.

Applicable products or collections

• Select the products or product collections in the catalog that you wish to apply the discount to.

Scope of application

• Customer eligibility: Select from All customers, Specific customer tag, or up to 100 Specific customers.

Discount use limit

• Discount use: Set the maximum number of times this discount can be used.
• One-time use per customer: Set the discount to be used only once per customer.

Combination

Choose whether to combine this discount with Product discounts, Order discounts, or Shipping discount.

Market

You can choose to apply the discount to All markets or specific markets, and further choose Countries and regions within those markets.

Event time

Set a required start date and an optional end date. If no end date is set, the promotion will remain active indefinitely. Note: The time zone is based on your store's location and cannot be changed.

Preview and publish

Review your rule settings in the Overview section on the top right of the page. If you want to preview the settings before publish, you can click More actions -> Preview. Once finalized, click Save to finalize the setting.

Once the rule is saved, it will appear in the discount list table, where you can edit, activate, pause, or delete it.
